Still awaiting release, Outlander is a science-fiction viking epic starring Jim Caviezel, Jack Houston, John Hurt, Ron Pearlman and Sophia Miles.  It was directed by Howard McCain. 

We created over 500 visual effects shots for this film and there are some really exciting effects sequences.

Outlander features a lot of different types of effects and in particular, some very unique CGI creatures. There is also a lot of matte painting and cg used to create the viking world, other planets, outer space, subteranian and underwater environments.
