Directed by Jim Hanon, this is an intense and true story about missionaies encountering a new tribe of people in the jungles of Ecuador. The visual effects help extend and bring to the screen the transendental experiences of the characteres. There were also extensive aerial sequences and the challenge of creating the remoteness of the Ecuadorian jungles as they were back in the 1960's.
